This page is provides teachers example lesson plans
to teach learners who have not had previous experience with computers.
These plans were compiled using actual teaching experience with
learners, grade 8 through 10, in a rural combined school in northern
Namibia. The speed at which you can proceed will depend greatly
upon on your learner to computer ratio. These plans reflect teaching
2 periods per week.
You may copy these plans for teaching/learning
purposes. The second year of teaching the same learners included
one term to review these lessons, one term to teach Spread Sheets,
and one term to teach Internet (email and web browsing).
